Pisces Sun, Cancer Moon : “Flow”

BlogImage

For this combination, the importance of nourishment derived from interior energies is as vital as the air we breathe.

After all, that’s the fuel you depend on to sustain yourself through everyday interactions with the world at large. Regular intervals of solitude are more a necessity than an indulgence, as they help you recharge your battery and clarify emotions. Behind closed doors, in the privacy of your heart is where you may experience a vivid spectrum of feelings from joy and elation to anger and grief. You regard your fortress of solitude as your “safe space”.

The potential exists to discover your true spiritual aspirations via the nurturing of your center. Authentic security is the “launching pad” which breathes life into a colorful imagination and an identity which is able to convey the language of idealism.

Your adaptability can serve you as a tremendous asset, as it’s possible to  adjust to the shape of the myriad of “containers” that your presented within your life sphere.

Gifted with an internal GPS (Global Perception System), you’re adept at translating mere words into the realm of emotional linguistics. A finely crafted antennae for soaking up mood and atmosphere is your birthright.

On a regular basis, You will undoubtedly be challenged to pull yourself out of your subjective “shell” and realize that just because you feel a certain way about a particular person, issue or situation doesn’t mean the entire world shares your sentiments. There’s something to be said for incorporating a measure of  detachment in your personal affairs.

One of your most prominent life lessons is that everything doesn’t require, or even deserve the same level of emotional involvement.  Healthy integration surfaces when you’re able to discern the flow of input and output needed and refine it to suit your interests.

You possess the capability of catapulting unconditional love  and acceptance to new heights, welcoming those who are deserving into your “family” or inner circle with open arms once they’ve passed your litmus test.

In your world, it’s only right that the vulnerability displayed on your part be accepted by others as a rich and rewarding gift. Instinctively, you hope that the recipient(s) will meet your desires with equal intensity. If not, the results won’t be so pretty.

At worst, you can resign yourself to the status of a brooding victim, or the “walking wounded”. You can become so engulfed in both legitimate past hurts and imagined slights that you delude yourself.

A futile search is launched for someone or something outside the self to rectify your internal situation. You start looking for the next big thing to latch on to as a means of escape from the realities you’ve yet to confront.

Consider finding a functional and constructive channel to provide an outlet for your deep feelings and artistic inclinations. Often, it can exist in the form of service which heals. Helping others to navigate the areas which activate their fears and insecurities. When it comes to this terrain you’re far from a novice.

Sagittarius Sun, Scorpio Moon : “Stakes is High”

accomplishment-achievement-education-1139319

Freedom and passion.

Not at all an unlikely pairing of needs . However, one could easily see how there could be a challenge to integrate both when involved with another individual.

The two needs would definitely have to negotiate with one another and come to a reasonable agreement . At least for that moment, or day in time.

Let’s  explore for a moment how this blend of a Sagittarius Sun and Scorpio Moon could make a lifetime out of fusing the breadth and depth which is implied by these two requirements.

With the Sun in Sagittarius, the quest to unearth a truth which will highlight the vast cosmic order and provide you with an ever broadening life philosophy is what fuels you.

The adventures of intellectual influencehaving a profound effect on the way others thinkteaching, acquiring knowledge and wisdom and obtaining the foresight to predict outcomes based on what you’ve learned serves as a stimulus for your life energy.

Your Scorpio Moon borrows your shine and reflects it back creating a personality which needs to go deep.

Your reigning needs consist of a necessity to feel life’s experiences at their most profound levels. Piercing and penetrating the veils and leaving the surface levels of existence in the dust.

You’re nourished by immersing yourself in the transformative fires of conflict and intimacy so that you may emerge reborn, wiser and more powerful.

Once a Sagittarian has been bitten by the bug of truth, he or she can’t be stopped. In a style filled with missionary zeal, they aim their arrow at their targets straight and true hoping to capture what they need until their next quest.

This life thrust blends with the energy of the lunar Scorpion, who concentrates his/her emotional reserves in a very private and strategic way only to be released when it’s appropriate. So, whether you possess this planetary placement or you’re close to someone who does- know that the stakes are high and the goal is to live life as such.

How To Work With Squares in the Birth Chart : Building Strength Through Tension

athlete-biceps-body-38630

Amongst the sea of Astrological writing in books and on the internet, there seems to be a continuation of the view that when it comes to Astrological aspects: conjunctions are “neutral”, trines and sextiles are “good”, while oppositions and squares are “bad”.

I even notice when the “hard” aspects are written about in Astro cookbooks, the author seems to always head in the direction which doesn’t outline the developmental potential between the meetings of planets, but rather reels into a bleak and dismal fate to which we must resign ourselves regarding our relationships, communication skills or our identities.

I would like to offer another view on squares and put forth the theory that very little gets accomplished without the tension which the aspect suggests. When the word “tension” is used, this somehow triggers an anxiety filled image in people where they think something will be hoisted on them that they won’t be able to handle.

Let’s close our eyes for a minute and picture a trip to the gym for an exhilarating exercising of our muscles. Think about what your body feels like when you murmur to yourself:

“That was a damn good workout.”

We feel invigorated and empowered through the challenges we were able to face in the gym because we summoned the intestinal fortitude necessary to confront the obstacles that the workout provided.

In our natal charts, squares are there to test our capabilities. What we need to understand is: if we face up to what’s being presented to us concerning the principles that the planets in question represent, we can become a much more skillful navigator through the terrains of those energies. Another thing we need to realize it that this takes WORK. No one is saying that this is an easy ride, or there won’t be periods of time where we may feel defeated or stuck.

However, this doesn’t have to be the final outcome and there are several people, who have achieved to great heights in which squares are prominent in their birth charts, to illustrate this point.

Tension allows our “muscles” to become stronger and enhances their capacity to recover more quickly. These muscles can be those of the body, mind, heart or spirit.

Mind you, if you’re the type of person who seeks to take the path of least resistance or avoid anything which demands MORE than a minimal effort from you, there may be a problem.

If we’re truly looking to develop our capacities, as illustrated in our natal charts, to their fullest, it’s advisable that we re-examine the idea of an “easy” life. If what we desire is meaning and fulfillment, it’s important to consider that some of us may have to go “to hell and back” to discover it, but those excursions may provide a much richer existence than accepting a fabricated fate that “things are just going to be how they are.”

Please consider that the squares contained in your birth chart can be a tremendous asset to keep you motivated. You may have a bundle of energy that just needs to be released in an appropriate direction in order to assist you in providing the life that you deserve.

Libra Sun, Capricorn Moon

adult-business-communication-1181605

The blend of social harmony and purposeful, ambitious undertakings.

To be viewed by society as a “good” person,i.e. someone who is generally fair, kind and humane is what fuels your life force. You want to be well-liked and structure communication with others on the basis of building bridges of understanding rather than raising points of contention.

What makes you feel alive is knowing that you’re continually refining the art of human interaction and you improve upon this through a sincere interest in people. Being in your presence makes others feel understood and listened to.

Life structure is one of your primary emotional needs. You need to know that no matter what you’re “going somewhere”. An organized plan of action and personal development has the potential to nourish your desire to achieve in a tangible way. Having something to show for your discipline and efforts is a must.

What needs to be understood is that in the midst of life  “business”, everyone may not walk away from the table happy. You will find yourself in situations where practical decisions may have to trump social relationships.

Your cordiality and diplomacy is in no way designed to offset your need to deal with the bottom line or bare bones of a situation. In fact, it’s purpose is to smooth out what may otherwise be rough terrain when you’re the bearer of unpleasant news.

On the flip side, with your potential to lead and manage you’re being called to display a “personal impersonality”. Never losing the human touch, yet distancing yourself enough as to not allow relationships to hold you hostage.

You are being challenged to remain resolute in your decision making. Holding fast to your logic and integrity while avoiding the traps of flailing in the whirlwind of the social approval scale. Often, you may feel like you have to decide between being true to your principles or being “liked”.

Remember that those who are genuine will respect your firmness and you only had the illusory approval of people who would want to revoke it because of decisions they happen to disagree with.

Gemini Sun, Leo Moon, Aquarius Rising

adult-black-and-white-computer-1181324

The freedom to circulate like air fuels your vitality. The sooner you recognize your many facets and realize that it’s impossible for you to be trapped in any type of box- the better.

Your emotional needs center around issues of self-confidence and honest acceptance of your uniqueness. You must feel validated from the inside in order to be fulfilled. Much of your life’s journey is about exercising youthful curiosity and asking the right questions, which will yield useful information and expanded understanding.

The primary lens through which you process your experience is one which challenges what some would refer to as “customary” or “normal”.

For you, the status quo is something to be questioned at all costs. You seek to serve and uplift humanity on a large scale and will find that exercising your ability for objective detachment will allow you to see people and issues from a much wider view, which automatically increases everything you’re able to take into your storehouse.

For your being to illuminate, it’s important that you feel literate in the most authentic sense. To be engaged in that which stimulates you energizes your life force . Even if you come across ideas which may be “conflicting” , you somehow have a knack for understanding and navigating life’s dualities.

For you, the key component which needs to be incorporated is genuine self-esteem.  That is, the ability to develop your personal identity and subsequently attach a value to it. Do you like what you see? How do you feel about what you’re becoming?

Because the work of the Gemini Sun is done through the Leo Moon, your specialness must be solidified and enjoyed before you can do the work of exploring all of your dimensions. It’s also important to recognize that rejection of certain parts of yourself can limit your capacity to connect with others and this will debilitate that Aquarius rising “common touch” that you would regularly display under more healthy circumstances.

Enjoy being yourself with all of your quirks, never stop asking relevant questions and use differences in people as a vehicle to gain more understanding of yourself and others.

Developmental Tasks: To engage in deep involvement with oneself via multifaceted inquiry. To process one’s experience through the lens of challenging the status quo.

If you think that your life’s task is to find a cozy spot smack dab in the middle of the “establishment” and go along to get along- please think again.

What you’re really here to do is live a life of deep significance which entails asking the right questions, which will “rock the boat”. Notice that I didn’t mention being liked as a top priority or concern, because when you sincerely embark upon this mission, it’s a toss up: some people will admire and love what you’re doing while others will find you unsettling because you’re disrupting their comfortable life with all of your damn questions.

Ideally, your aspirations center around turning over any and every rock which will reveal the REAL truth about precisely who and what you are. The question which permeates your astrological signature is: are you prepared to digest  “the good, the bad and the ugly”?  This arrangement in your birth chart suggests that the work of deep mining is done via an emotional need to gather, classify and analyze information. For you, there’s a safety in breaking things and sometimes people into parts in order to understand each component more fully.

An inquiring and versatile mind can serve as one of your many gifts. When optimally used, your intellect can be the instrument which can see through self-created facades as well as any b.s. that others attempt to send in your direction.

To question what seems to be “universally” accepted is one of your specialties. The things which usually get classified under: “Well, everyone knows that…..” are precisely the targets for which you aim. In your world, being well-adjusted isn’t about fitting into existing systems. Rather it’s about challenging them, rebelling against them and creating a more sound and liberating way of life for yourself and others.

As a reminder, it needs to be said that some of the lessons you’ll be learning won’t manifest in a lighthearted fashion. The minute you decide to actualize the potential that your birth chart contains, there will be tests. It’s important to ask yourself: no matter what I see or encounter, am I willing to look it directly in the eye and keep going?

A picture of this combination working in a constructive fashion is a versatile, intellectually adept rebel who’s also psychologically sophisticated.

Understanding which ideas to take seriously and implement into your life is crucial to your existence. There are a couple of things to take into consideration : (1) just because it ignites your passion doesn’t mean it’s something to run with and (2) it’s possible to agree with the majority and it still hold potential for your liberation in that area of life.

Ultimately, it’s the QUALITY of your rebellion and your learning that will determine your success, not the quantity.

Astrological Aspects: The Basics Explained

Image

So…you’re relatively new to astrology. You know your sun sign and have recently learned about your moon sign and ascendant. You might have started delving into your individual planetary placements, and are now even discovering the astrological houses.

Another essential building block in your Astrological education which will serve you well, is becoming familiar with astrological aspects.

Simply defined, aspects are planetary relationships.  You take two planets, hook them up and see how they get along. The synthesizing of this information brings  more flavor, detail and intricacy to our astrological interpretations.

A general astrological rule is : there are no isolated factorsSigns, planets and houses are always relating to one another in the context of an individual chart

I often comment that planetary relationships are very similar to interpersonal ones. Sometimes we come into contact with another person and we couldn’t ask for an interaction that’s more smooth and effortless.

There are also exchanges that aren’t nearly as comfortable. Maybe we’re forced to talk to a group of strangers that we have very little in common with. Or, we have such different perspectives that it creates an environment filled with tension.  The aforementioned describes the theory behind how aspects work.

How flowing, or challenging the planetary dynamics are is symbolized by the angular relationship.

In the larger sense, there are no “good” and “bad” aspects. The energy is neutral. This is not to say that every planetary interaction will be smooth sailing.  However, when two or more planets make contact with one another at a certain degree, the response and how you choose to utilize those combinations is largely up to you.

For example: At work, you might have a challenging relationship with your supervisor, because he/she is very demanding, precise and doesn’t tolerate any excuses. Is this bad? You may think so initially. However,  it’s quite possible that because of this interaction, you might find that you’ve become more adept, better organized and equipped to handle more responsibility.

Conversely, the receptionist in your building may be one of the most pleasant people who you’ve ever known. You can talk to him/her hours on end. There’s never a shortage of topics to discuss. Seems “good”, right? However, one day you might come to the conclusion that all of this talk never pushed you to do any productive work. Nice and easy, but no growth or results. Yet another clue to the workings of aspects.

There are both major and minor aspects. For the purpose of this discussion, I have chosen to concentrate on the majors: the conjunctionoppositionsquaretrine and sextile.

The Conjunction- 0 Degrees

conjunction is a planetary relationship where the planets are usually right “on top” of one another. Either at the exact degree or only a few degrees apartThey’re usually in the same sign.

Using an example from my chart, I have my Sun in Sagittarius at 28 degrees. My Sagittarius Ascendant is also at 28 degrees. There is virtually no separation between the two. Therefore, this is a conjunction.

It’s like two people holding hands in an elevator. Or, that couple you know ,who you always mention their names togetherThe energy is inseparable.  A conjunction blends planetary expressions. In your chart, this can be a point where you shine because of the intensification of focus.

The Opposition- 180 Degrees

The opposition symbolizes and tug of war, or an internal division.

In most cases, oppositions, which are symbolized by planets that areseparated by an angle of 180 degrees, occur between opposing, orcomplimentary signs within the zodiac. An example would be if one had the sun in Scorpio and the moon in Taurus. With this arrangement in their chart, they would have a sun-moon opposition. One can also have out of sign oppositions in their chart if the particular degrees allow.

Think about people who are literally on opposing sides of an issue in a meeting room. Apply the same scenario to your psyche.

Successful navigation of this aspect calls for negotiation and bridge building on both sidesThe principles which are represented by the opposing planets must be integrated. If not, they run the risk of being fragmented and operating as lone rangers within the individuals mental framework.

The Square- 90 Degrees

In traditional astrology, a square is referred to as an aspect of tension. A ninety degree angle between planets that is symbolic of crisis.

Unfortunately, some astrological writing has convinced us to run for the hills if we have squares in our charts. It’s all doom and gloom as if we’ve lost even before we’ve started. Other practitioners are certainly welcome to their opinion, but here’s this astrologer’s take on it:

Tension is : the act or action of being stretched.

Crisis is: an unstable or crucial time or state of affairs in which a decisive change is impending.

The planets and signs involved in a square aspect call for the ability to adjust to constantly changing circumstances. Successful navigation of a square  provides strength, power and elasticity in regard to the planetary principles and sign expressions included.

Now…..I’m not going to get Pollyanna on you, put Bobby McFerrin on repeat, and tell you “don’t worry, be happy.” That everything will be just fine.

The fact is: it will not be just fine if we’re unwilling to confront the issuesput forth the effort. Or,try to resist, rather than work with the changes that are inherent within this aspect.

Squares are extremely dynamic. They push us and serve as an impetus for growth.

Working with squares, we must realize that everything that feels goodmay not necessarily be beneficial for us, and just because something is uncomfortable doesn’t mean it’s harmful.

Walter Payton, one of the greatest running backs in NFL history, had an infamous off-season work out. He ran up a hill, which later became to be known as “Payton’s Hill”, just outside Chicago. Payton would sprint up this hill, which was around 92 feet for as many as 20 repetitions.

Most of us know the rest of the story.

The Trine- 120 Degrees

Trines are aspects of flow and ease. The planetary energies which relate at an 120 degree angle have an innate smoothness. Trines symbolize natural talents and gifts which are our possession.

The key in handling this aspect is to know that these gifts exist and to consciously refine and strengthen them.

One of the potential downfalls of trines is to fall back on them. To become so complacent that you think no further effort is required. Let us all remember that even the most efficient running engine requires maintenance. If this does not happen, it may break down at the most inopportune time.

The Sextile- 60 Degrees

Many astrologers refer to the sextile as a mini-trine. The message behind the aspect is similar, except a trine possesses greater strength. A sextile is an aspect of potential and opportunity. The trine is what IS. The sextile is what COULD BE, providing we’re willing to take the necessary steps to plant and water the seed, so it grows healthily to optimum level.

With a sextile, there are a host of quality ingredients laid out before us. What we must do now is work to find the perfect combination. To cultivate more of the principles and energies symbolized by the planets and signs involved.

As a whole, each of our birth charts is filled with possibilitiesHowever, the chart itself, promises nothing. Is we’re to utilize the contents of our birth chart based on a realistic assessment of our lives, it’s essential that we’re committed to doing the necessary work to make what’s possible ACTUAL.

Aries Sun, Cancer Moon

black-wallpaper-black-and-white-boxer-3797

Within the Aries Sun- Cancer Moon blend, we explore themes which emerge from developmental tension between an adventurous thrust into the world  and an emotional attachment to what’s familiar.

Aspirations point toward making one’s mark and a distinct impression of personal identity weighed against a physical or ideological clan of origin.

The questions arise:

Who will take care of those I care about if I’m out attempting to conquer the world?

How can I create a viable identity and still fulfill the reigning emotional need to belong?

This Sun-Moon blend can channel it’s potential emotional power into self care as well as the nurturing of others in a passionately protective manner.

The Cancer Moon reflects and distributes the action oriented light of the Aries Sun. The balance and resolution must come between the assertive and the receptive. Doing battle and resting.

It’s of utmost important to trust and value one’s gut instincts in both the physical and the emotional worlds. Relying on kinesthetic and emotional intelligence.

This is the warrior who has two layers of armor at their disposal. And, utilization of these resources can create a win-win at home and in the world at large.

The Moon and Emotional Manipulation: Planetary Aspects Explored

abstract-art-blur-1038727

The word manipulate has dual meanings. It can be defined as (1) the ability to handle or control in a skillful manner. Or, (2) to control or influence (a person or situation) cleverly, unfairly, or unscrupulously.

Most of us, if we’re completely honest with ourselves, will recognize: when it comes to dealing with the emotions of other people, we’ve chosen to handle situations by instituting both definitions, whether partially or in full.

The purpose of this article isn’t to promote divisions between people by casting off one segment of the human population as “manipulative” and another group as not being so. Rather, the intention of sharing these thoughts is to shine a light on the Moon’s connection to other planets and possibly what types of techniques and strategies (both constructive and non-constructive) may be present or possible, both natally and via synastry contacts.

My theory here is : for every planetary contact which suggests maladaptive and under-functioning qualities that may contribute to a dynamic of emotional manipulation, one could use the very same planetary energies in a constructive and developmental fashion in order to address those same issues, that one originally may have felt that manipulation (in a potentially damaging sense) was the only way to get their needs met.

Some of these methods are overt, while others are more covert in nature. Nevertheless, as stated before, many of the solutions, or developmental lessons are found right within the challenges of these aspects to the Moon (in an individually birth chart or in synastry between two people).

Here’s some food for thought in regard to the aspects:

Moon-Mercury:  Choosing an overly “rational” approach to matters which clearly have emotional merit and value. Labeling the other party as being “overly emotional” and insisting on “logic” as a device to devalue feelings or the other person’s experiences. Using the request to “calm down” as a means to manipulate the honest responses of another person. “Minimization” where the aggressor is attempting to assert that their behavior really isn’t as harmful as the other is making it out to be.

*Using this aspect constructively one can make the choice to speak honestly about what’s on one’s mind AND heart, combining the analytic function of Mercury with lunar instincts.

Moon-Venus:  Flattery as a form of manipulation. Using charm, seduction or niceties to lower defenses and suspicions in order to conceal more aggressive intentions. Using praise as a subtle form of manipulation (when the praise is gone, one may interpret that as displeasure, and wonder what they need to do to get it back.)

*Using this aspect constructively, one can “fight fairly” and attempt to find points of agreement to deepen dialogue versus viewing the entire interaction or relationship through a “winning” and “losing” lens.

Moon-Mars:  Combat and Aggression as a means of manipulation. Using the sheer strength of one’s emotions to “steamroll” or bully the other person. Utilizing the interaction as a chance to purposely injure rather than truly understand the other person or the nature of the conflict. Being “mad” or “outraged” as a tactic with hopes that the anger will consume the other’s attention so much that they will cease to investigate the validity of the claim.

*Using this aspect constructively, one can vow to be hard on the problem and not on the person; using one’s assertiveness and sense of urgency to attack the root causes of the conflict.

Moon-Jupiter:  Manipulating through righteous indignation or claims of “moral superiority”. Attempts to convince that you’re the “right” or the “good” person within the interaction, while the other is the “bad” or “wrong” one. The implication here is one of smug disappointment, a.k.a. “I thought you were better than that” or, “I expected more from you.” The hopes are that the person will feel so ashamed of not being “a good person” that they’ll give in and change their position.

*Using this aspect constructively, one can institute the principles of good will and charity. One can make the choice to sincerely honor, respect and give credence to the perspective of another based on the principles of partnership. In addition, when viewing through a mature lens, one can seize conflict as a growth opportunity.

Moon-Saturn: “Withholding” as a means of manipulation. Becoming purposely cold, remote and emotionally inaccessible in attempts to punish the other person. There’s a suggestion that the partner will now need to “work” to gain one’s affections back. Also, the “dumping”, or assigning of responsibility to how one feels onto the other. Manipulation through obligation or guilt.

*Using this aspect constructively, one can learn to take responsibility for and control over one’s feelings and work toward a place of integrity within, so the likelihood of one’s emotional expressions will dramatically increase. In addition, the establishment of healthy boundaries between oneself and others is paramount. However, this needs to be differentiated from placing an intentional barrier to intimacy.

Moon-Uranus:  Unpredictability as a means of manipulation. “What will She/He do next?” is the main question when one is experiencing this particular dynamic. One person intentionally seeks to keep another “off-balance” in hopes that they will become so engrossed in the vacillation of behavior that’s taking place that they’ll place less emphasis on the unhealthy and imbalanced transactions they’re continuing to participate in.

*Using this aspect constructively, one can experiment with novel perspectives in regard to emotional conflicts. Where you think there’s “no way” , using the power of ingenuity and fresh, unconventional approaches (which will often deviate from socially “accepted” ones) to confront and share feelings can be of lasting benefit.

Moon-Neptune: Obfuscation and avoidance as a means of manipulation. (“Let’s talk about this later.”) “Spacing out”, or an altogether denial of one’s or another’s emotions. Intentionally crafting things as unclear or nebulous. Refusing to provide concrete definitions and feelings.  Operating off of deceit, lies (through omission). (“Who? Me?”) Or, possibly taking a victim’s stance in the way of being under the influence of alcohol or substances (“you know how I get when I drink, smoke weed, etc…”)

*Using this aspect constructively, rather than elude, one seeks to form emotional connections through the strength of merger. Putting one’s best foot forward while emphasizing one’s ability to relate, empathy and unconditional acceptance, no matter how the other person may be feeling produces feelings of mutual compassion and an ideal atmosphere for resolving emotional conflicts.

Moon-Pluto: Manipulation through pathologizing. (“The reason that you act like that is because of your family situation growing up.”) Becoming an unsolicited psychotherapist and labeling the other as “abnormal” or “crazy” for thinking or feeling the way that they do.  Also, purposely unearthing wounds which may have been revealed to you in confidence at a previous time in attempts to shame the other person.

*Using this aspect constructively, one can use deep psychological insight as a means to identify root causes and facilitate healing of emotional wounds. This is the “psychotherapist” that’s solicited and sincere. Also, the potential to use shared authentic emotional expression as a means to deepen bonds and arouse healthy passion is contained within this planetary framework.

Sun-Pluto Aspects : “The Healer”

african-ancient-anonymous-267858

When studying Astrology, one of the most important lessons to be understood is:

when it comes to signs, planets and their placements, houses and aspects- there are two sides to every coin.

Attaching the labels of “good” and “bad” when discussing these entities will most likely hinder us from developing a broad understanding of their functions within the greater astrological whole.

When the Sun, which symbolizes the ingredients that comprise your life force and identity has a “sit down” with Pluto, who represents the transformer, catharsis, regeneration and all that reforms, a powerful impact is released into the universe. Influence that can be used for good, or for ill.

If you have a Sun-Pluto aspect within your birth chart, there is an astounding amount of personal power at your disposal. Whether or not you spend the time and effort on yourself which is necessary to access this power is another story.

Anything which involves Pluto is deep and significant . Plutonian energies operate below the surface and cannot readily be “seen” with the naked eye.

To truly benefit from these aspects, you will need to engage in a tremendous amount of self-reflection and scrutiny.

You ‘ll also have to examine your own motivations when it comes to dealing with others. Listening ability can most certainly serve you as an ally. You will not succeed if your method for getting ahead consists of bulldozing others with your views or agendas.

Your potentially highly magnetic personality will work for you providing that you learn to trust others and reveal your motives.

In fact: Sun-Pluto people have the potential serve humanity as healers because of their experience in dealing with matters which are not openly discussed due to the sensitivity and the privacy of their nature. The uniting of these two planets, when capitalized on, makes it possible to live a life which is highly and intentionally purposeful.

An existence based on positive change, and the continuous reinvention of self. Shedding the skin of your identity on a periodic basis, removing all of the outworn parts in order to thrive as the TRUE youAuthenticity in all of its forms can be yours. The misuses of Sun-Pluto power are evident in the megalomania of Nino Brown and Tony Montana.

If you haven’t seen “New Jack City” or “Scarface”, watching these films can provide a picture which cannot be totally captured in words. The choice remains: to heal or to hurt. It’s truly up to us what side of the coin we choose.
